Explore Dream Discover{Inspirational Quote}

Explore Dream Discover“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”

~Mark Twain

We have but one life to truly LIVE. Why waste it in petty negativity, when there is so much wonder and beauty in the world to Explore and Discover.

You don’t need to spend bundles of your hard earned money to travel to exotic locations to explore and discover. You can do this in the comfort of your Own Being. Just Look within yourself with an open mind and a heart full of love and you will Discover things about yourself you never knew existed. In finding yourself, exploring and discovering your true self, you will SEE your dreams turn into reality. Your dreams need wings to fly to the heights of passion through which you have been wanting them. Finding your true self through self exploration and self discovery, is truly the wind beneath your dreams wings.

So open your heart and mind. Free yourself from negativity. One life to LIVE One chance to attain your TRUE Dreams. Dont Let it slip away!! Its too precious! None of us would want to live with regrets…would we???

  1. This is beautiful dear Zeenat, I love your continual optimism and free spirit. You always encourage us all to life more fully and to wake up and really appreciate what we have been given. I believe we can do this even in the direst of circumstances, even while strive to bring positive healthy change into our lives. Even in my darkest hour I have managed to find something to live for, to be grateful for, to make me want to continue to turn toward Life.

A beautiful quote. Life is far too precious to waste on petty grudges and negativity. Thank you for making coming here an uplifting joy. I love you for that and more. You change the world my dear friend. You really do. Love, Robin

  2. Nice energy Zeenat, Explore. Dream. Discover is the story of my life. As I look back, I’m so glad I’ve always gone for it. When I was very young I met people who we only in their 30’s and already hated their lives. I vowed that would never be me, and you know what, it never was. Love life, it’s always the best choice!

    1. Hi Jonathan,
I know what you mean. I used to have those kind of people all around me while i was growing up to. They really made life out to be such a Downer…I was a bit scared to grow up….I was young nad impressionable then…but now i am older…and i would liek to think, have developed a good sense of how wonderful life can be. No more can those negative people get to me.
I am so glad I have managed to connect with such wonderful people who share my thoughts…you being at the top of that list 🙂

The goal is to know feel free to take life, and be tolerant of others, in other words be in harmony with the world.

    1. Hi Juan,
Youre absolutely right!! You say it so beautifully….Be in harmony with the world….but in addition, being in harmony first with your own being will undoubtedly bring greater harmony with the world around you.
Thank you fro your lovely comment. 🙂

    1. HI Vijay,
You have said something so perfect in your comment. Its almost surreal :a moment that passes does not come back. This is one of the reasons we need to LIVE in every moment thats given to us…and make the most of this beautifully glorious life.
Thank you for your encouragement..and the lovely comment. Am glad you liked the post 🙂

  5. Zeen,

I loved it. Yep we do have only one life and we need to have positive energy and shoo away the devil inside us who instills the -ve thoughts at times.

    Keep writing buddy

    1. HI Remya,
Shoo away teh negative and embrace the positive..should be our new mantra…dont you think?? 🙂
What a wonderful world it would be if we all could think and actually practice that!!
Glad you loved the post 🙂

  7. Hi Zeenat,
This is a favorite quote of mine, and I love what you’ve written to go along with it today. Yes, we could travel the world over, but if we never take that journey into ourselves, we’re not really traveling with those deep and meaningful reasons. Going within, what a great way to view this quote…and so good for me to read today…

    1. Hi Lance,
I am so so glad you liked my Inward interpretation to this quote. Lately, everything to me has become part of my inward journey…cause everything and every experience nudges me to look within. I guess thats why it just comes out in the posts as well.
Thank you for this wonderful comment 🙂

  8. I’ve always loved that quote by Mark Twain, and it feels right to me every time I read it. However, I tend to be a safe-haven kinda person, preferring the comforts of what I know to the adventures that might await me… Never one to jump into the deep end, I take my time and test the waters before getting all the way in. Sometimes I wish I was more daring and had that adventurous spirit ruling me, but of course, I know there’s still time.
    Thanks for this nudge, Zeenat!

    1. Hi My Joyful Angel,
I am so happy that this quote is nudging you to be more adventurous 🙂 Yay…this way we can both have wonderful wonderful adventures to share and enjoy. Life is meant to be that way….full of twists and turns and mini adventures…even if that adventure includes me brushing my little ones teeth., which often includes running all around the house with a tooth brush and singing ‘brush brush brush your teeth….’…everyday another trick, everyday another position….just getting her to brush her teeth is like wow….i dont think there is one inch of this house that hasnt been brushed and scrubbed while trying to brush her teeth 🙂

  9. Awesome, Zeenat! I was just reading a book that encouraged you to go within and experience the “nothing” in order to become part of the cosmos which we really are. You’re right, we don’t need to spend a fortune on trips – we have a journey, perhaps the only one we SHOULD take, the road to a discovery that counts. I find the whole concept of inner journey fascinating – not because I think I’M fascinating, but to see all that I am is not really what I thought.

    1. Suzen, Youre fascinating alright!! Whether you think or not..I know you and each one of us have some Awesomeness hidden inside us. Its just a matter of a little effort to look within..and WALAH…we are all awesome!!!
It is fascinating that each one of us has something unique and special to offer..yet some us choose to live in ignorance 😦

  10. Hi Zeenat,

When I was 15, I died for a few minutes and came back. As a result, that whole experience made me realize that life could end at any moment so I started what I call “full throttle” living. I started to life my life with the idea that I would have no regrets.

When my mother passed away from cancer, it was another reminder of the importance of living authentically and being true to who we truly are. So I love that quote and the picture is perfect.

    1. Hi Nadia,
Wow!! Now i know why you are such a lovely soul 🙂
“Full throttle” seems to be the perfect way to live, if you dont want to have any regrets. Each and every experience in life teaches us something new, about the world and about our self. Death especially of a loved one opens up so many doors of the heart and soul.
Am glad you liked this quote 🙂

  11. We often do not see life as a delicious banquet and an opportunity to taste possibilities.
Often it is through experiences that we find out what is possible, by jumping and then daring to go where that lands us. You can see I too love the quote.

    1. Hi Wilma,
Thats very true. Its hard to see life as a delicious rainbow, when life has beten you down so many times. But, in rising above all the ugliness and facing them and still moving ahead…now thats commendable. Life is indeed too short to waste sulking 🙂
So glad you loved the quote 😉

    1. Hi Steven,
Glad you loved the quote. I loved it too. It somehow spoke to me while i was reading it….if that makes sense 🙂 I just had to share and ad my views. We all really do need a push sometimes to take our lifes journey to the next level.

    1. Hi Kaushik,
I know, just realizing that life is short and can end at anytime, should be the only push we truly need to make our lives more meaningful NOW!!
Glad you liked this post. And so happy you gave it such a wonderful comment. Always so insightful. Thanks.

  12. Hi Zeenat .. wonderful reminders – to get out and leave the old behind, move on .. explore, dream, discover and we can all do it whereever we are – I can do it while being her with my mother .. reading, looking at interesting things on the net, sharing bloggers lives – learning all the time. Don’t miss out .. I’m sure we all agree with wished we’d done something years ago and remember that omission, rather than the good memories of the things we’ve experienced.

Just so glad you’re back ..

    1. Darling Hilary,
I feel so nice after reading your comment. I do feel the same way…we are all so different but somehow have come together to help and encourage in each others life journeys. We all have a few regrets of the past, of things that should’ve happened or things we should’ve done, but its important to think about it now…and in the present circumstance and make a deal with ourself that we will never let those regrets happen again, cause we will be LIVING and i mean TRULY LIVING> So where will we have the time or the place for regrets?? right 🙂

      1. Dear Zeenat – that’s a wonderfully generous comment: many many thanks. And even though I know what I should be doing .. the wet cold damp weather isn’t helping me have mind over matter and get on with things – perhaps I need a little time to adjust. But I must do things today .. otherwise I shall be regretting my own actions!

Enjoy your week and the new ‘life’ that you’ve started with your move.

Have fun – and Yes we all need to truly live –

  13. Hi Zeenat. That quote is so right. Regret is usually about what you didn’t do. Studies show people are far more likely to regret what they did not do rather than what they did. So do it!

    Wonderful picture!

    1. Hi Stephen,
So true…Just Do it….so that we may life regret free lives and enjoy every moment of it. Glad you liked the quote and the picture. I fell in love with that pic…so lovely that it somehow makes me feel like i can truly fly 🙂

  14. Hi, Zeenat. What a lovely site you have here. It feels like home to me. 🙂

Your quote, here… Lance’s quote, on Sunday… A Facebook friend giddy about where her imagination is taking her… And my own recent ponderings… We’re all touching on the topic of going within to find all the happiness we could ever imagine, and then embracing it and living it to make it all come true in as many outward expressions as we can imagine. Happily ever after IS attainable…by finding the Love within and then choosing to exercise it in as many ways as we can each waking moment of life. Doing this, we’d never have any regrets. 🙂

    1. HI Julie,
Youre so sweet to give my blog such lovely compliments. I am so glad you feel right at home here. This is my little virtual Heaven 🙂 And youre welcome to drop by anytime with your lovely insight 🙂
As for looking within, arent we all always looking for answers, looking far and wide, but never finding the answer which truly satisfies us..and then one day , when you least expect it, the answer just comes to you from yourself.
Truly we all need to look within more often. As you rightly say, our happily ever afters are right here for us to live, if only we choose to look within.
      Lots of love

  15. Zeenat, I’m always SO glad to see a message about exploring and discovering one’s self, instead of trying to improve one’s self! Thanks for spreading the message that we are, each one of us, so amazing, so perfect already, and so worth exploring and discovering!

Makes me think that INWARD is the last frontier, that we’ll explore and discover without end. Thanks! and thank you, Mark Twain!
